Gallery: Music: Rhythms: Wax resist paintings
A series of paintings executed on stretched cotton combining traditional wax resist techniques, dyes and wet-in-wet methods. Listening to pieces by Ravel, Jazz music and individual instruments, the hand follows the rhythms of the music to convey their energy on the painted surface.
